We produce corporate conventions in Lisbon for 50 to 400 participants: venue sourcing, plenary, technical production, catering, evening event and arrival logistics. A two-day convention for 150 people sits between 600 and 1,400 € per person, flights excluded. Allow six months of lead time in May, June, September and October.
What changes compared with a seminar?
The headcount and the rhythm. A seminar puts teams to work, a convention delivers a message to a whole company gathered in one place. The plenary becomes the centre of gravity, and it dictates the choice of venue, not the hotel.
The practical consequence: we start from the plenary room and work backwards. How many people seated facing a stage, at what capacity, with what ceiling height and what technical access. Everything else is built around that.
Which venues in Lisbon for a plenary?
Lisbon can house a convention without sending you out to the suburbs. Depending on capacity:
- Up to 120 people, the conference rooms of the four and five star hotels on Avenida da Liberdade and in Parque das Nações do the job, with the advantage of housing everyone on site.
- From 120 to 400, you leave the hotel: converted factories in Marvila, eighteenth-century palaces with gardens, venues in Parque das Nações. Accommodation is then split across two or three nearby hotels, with shuttles.
- Above 400, the large congress venues take over. We produce few of those, and we say so when another agency will serve you better.
How do the two days break down?
The format that works best, by a distance:
- Day 1 staggered arrivals, welcome lunch, plenary in the afternoon, evening event in a different venue.
- Day 2 breakout workshops in the morning, lunch, a short closing session, departures.
Moving to another venue for the evening matters more than people expect. Two days in the same room and the energy drops.
What we take on
The venue and its negotiation, staging, sound, lighting, video and stage management, simultaneous interpreting when teams are multilingual, recording, catering, the evening event, transfers, accommodation, and coordinating arrivals from several countries.
A stage manager is on site on the day. That is not an option with us.
How far ahead should you start?
Six months for a landmark venue in May, June, September or October. Three months is enough outside those periods, accepting a shorter shortlist. Under two months it is feasible below 100 people, not above.

Can participants fly in from several countries on the same day?
Yes, that is the usual case. The airport is 7 km from the city centre, so arrivals can be staggered without losing half a day to transfers.
Do you provide simultaneous interpreting?
Yes, booths, interpreters and receivers. Ask for it in the first conversation, since interpreters in some language pairs book up a long way ahead.
What if the headcount changes during preparation?
We contract with a range and a final confirmation date. A 10 % variation is absorbed at no extra cost, beyond that we revisit the venue.
