Which venues can be hired privately in Lisbon?
This is where Lisbon genuinely stands out, because the city kept buildings that other capitals lost.
- Eighteenth-century palaces, with linked reception rooms and gardens. The most sought-after setting for a seated gala, up to 300 covers depending on the address.
- Quintas, former wine estates twenty or thirty minutes out of town. Gardens, orangeries, comfortable capacity, and a real change of air after a working day.
- Rooftops facing the Tagus, for a standing dinner. Good circulation, and the view does the work of the staging.
- Converted factories in Marvila, raw volumes and high ceilings. The venue type that works best for a product launch, because it accepts any staging without fighting the existing decor.
- Boats, for a short format and a memorable effect, on smaller capacities.
What we take on
Scouting and negotiating the venue, staging and furniture, sound, lighting and video, stage management, catering, service, entertainment or a show, transfers from the hotels, and security when the capacity requires it.
A stage manager is on site on the day, from get-in to get-out.
Gala or product launch, what is different?
A gala turns on comfort and duration: seated dinner, speeches, awards, dancing. The main constraint is seated capacity and acoustics.
A product launch turns on how the product is staged and how guests move around it. The venue has to accept a heavy technical rig and let the product be seen from the right angle across the room. The main constraint is technical access and available power.

What is the maximum capacity?
The largest private-hire venues in Lisbon take more than a thousand guests. Most of the evenings we produce sit between 80 and 400.
How far ahead should we book?
Six to twelve months for a landmark venue in May, June, September or October. Three months is enough outside those periods.
Can the evening follow on from a seminar?
That is the most common case. We place the gala on the second night rather than the last, so the group actually enjoys it.
